Trained at the Chukudu Art Center, spent two years collaborating with the INGOMA AFRIKA collective
Wanguwabo Wanny’s work explores identity, collective memory, and resilience, using acrylic on canvas as a cry against insecurity. His painting is characterized by organic symbols, the eye and the ear, translating visible and invisible traumas, while motifs such as dreadlocks and cartographic patterns assert an identity of resistance. His approach transforms paint into an affirmation of human dignity and the hope carried by African youth.
