Iyanuoluwa Babalola is a Painting Therapeutic Artist whose practice explores healing, cultural identity, moral teachings, storytelling, historical memory, and childhood experiences, translating personal and collective experiences into expressive visual narratives that promote emotional restoration and cultural continuity. He incorporates symbolic fruit earrings inspired by his hometown, Fiditi (“The Home of Fruits”), as visual markers of ancestry, place, and belonging.
Began as a teenager under an apprenticeship arranged by his father; studied Fine and Applied Arts (Painting) at Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo (2015-2018, N.C.E.); later pursued a Bachelor’s degree at Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo (2021-2023), transitioning into full-time artistic practice toward the end of the degree
